Im not sure if the band actually reads the comments on these blog posts but either way I want to start out by saying I fucking love you guys and have been listening since under waves of the brown coat. I really fucking love your live perfomances. (i see you guys pretty much every time youre been in the NJ/NY area) I recently downloaded a torrent of your acoustic AP recordings and they are incredible. Those live acoustic versions of And I and Church Mouth are better than the album versions! I think an acoustic album or some sort of acoustic re-release would be really really really nice. keep up the great work and keep making beautiful music

Agreeing with Moses. You should release some kind of live/acoustic album. Every time I’ve seen you live (4) you’ve blown my mind.

Fuck yes! So I got a question, ticketmaster has a listing for 6/10/09 in St Louis, is there really going to be a show then/there? Because if so I’m willing to make the 6 hr drive to see some PTM and possibly get a little peaky taste of some of the new tunes.

Blazers.
We just recorded some acoustic versions of the new album with Casey Bates in Seattle and plan on doing some more videos with Graham Baclagon again. He is the man. We also taped and recorded a live session in Oregon City at Supernatural Studios that may come out in some form at some point.
In Boston working on some new material for some sort of release with Anthony Saffery and Adam Taylor at Camp Street Studios once again. We’ll see where it takes us. And sorry Rich, don’t know if we could say any of that….
We are very excited for the release of the Satanic Satanist and look forward to your thoughts on it. It is a very focused project with a very focused theme. It is much shorter than previous albums but is a great step in songwriting for us. We have always been pop kids, even if a bit off the rails in other ways.
:]
