Another Release Day

At this point it must seem like we put out a record everyday. The iTunes Live from SoHo came out last week and now this week American Ghetto gets it physical debut. Back in March we took a different approach to releasing a record as we mentioned in that blog. This record is for you, the people who allow us and encourage us to continue making music, and the response has been amazing. We cannot thank you enough.

But with all this happening we are still very much in the midst of The Satanic Satanist. We are working on a video for “Guns & Dogs” and we hope to shoot one for “People Say” soon. We will continue to tour through the end of the year in support of The Satanic Satanist.

Lastly, as you may already know, we are in the studio in El Paso working on our next record. We will be spending a few weeks down here in Texas and then we will be going on a short tour and then we will be spending a few more weeks on London working on the record. We are very excited to have the opportunity to work at these great studios with great producers at a pace slightly less frantic then our previous. We trust it will allow us to finish a lot of the ideas we previously had that we just never had time for.

We will give you an update from El Paso soon enough.

is there any other chance to get the soho session? i would buy it but its not available on itunes for my country…will you release it over your own online shop too?

Just picked up the physical copy today. Good thing I got there when the store opened cuz there were only 2 copies there! Downloading albums is fine and all, but nothing beats a physical copy, especially P.TM’s albums! Just like The Satanic Satanist, this record offers a unique way to access the CD. P.TM is one of the most creative and innovative bands out there. Great work fellas and have fun out there on the road and in the studio! Thanks for the great music!

The SoHo release was supposed to be available worldwide so I am not sure what happened. I am digging into that now.
As far as physical copies go, yes, they are limited and, no I would not test my luck in hoping the local store has one. Buy the physical from the band and make sure you get a copy

I can’t imagine that you have grown to a band like Radiohead, Beatles, Rolling Stones or Nick Cave, where you need years to get into them if you are just starting.
5 Albums + EPs and the sixth one on the way… thats terrific.
You’re music section in my itunes is bigger than any other (that makes me kind of proud and it should make you proud, because you achieved what only a few persons will ever ever achieve)

I got my physical copy in the mail and it made the cd that much better.

Funny thing, I preordered it at Amazon (sorry guys ) and they say it will be released on June 4th. So I just think it’s their quite strange system. But anyway, when they say I can preorder it and I do, I will get one, won’t I?
